LARISSA SCHLICK

Larissa Schlick, born in 1980 in Cologne, has started her career in global advertising as a visual designer which has won her international recognition and awards.

Her success as an artist followed her global journey that has brought her from Cologne to Frankfurt, Shanghai and Hong Kong with her atelier now established on the Balearic Island of Mallorca, Spain.

In her work, she draws inspiration from her time living in Asia, notably from Cantonese cuisine where the texture of food is almost more important than its flavours. Her pieces are made using neutral colors to put the focus on intriguing materials, captivating texture and the balance between them. Creating art that aims to please the eye and the mind.
